Hi! I am Karina Lawrence, the founder of MomRelief your guide to a more satisfying management of your life. I am mother of two daughters: Sofia who is 16 and my Kristina who is 7. When I came to the Bay Area six years ago I bought a house and was busy figuring out my new life. I was taking care of my children, running the household, and was enrolled in an MBA program. I simultaneously was trying to keep up with my social life, make new friends, going to museums, plays, etc.
My free time was important, but my household problems were taking up a great deal of my time. I needed the right plumber when my dishwasher overflowed or the reliable handyman when I needed to fix a door. The problem was that there were not enough resources available. I asked people I knew. I looked at the yellow pages. I searched Craigslist. But, very often I was disappointed in the quality of the services available.
